June’s Cancer New Moon is an Annular Lunar Eclipse and is also the day after the Summer Solstice. This is an auspicious time for Alchemy, changing what was into something new. A time of burning away the old to allow room for something new. The Summer Solstice is a time of balanced dark and light, illuminating that which has been unseen and bringing to light that which has yet to be faced. Lunar eclipses are said to be a portal, an opening in where we can shift our timeline and recreate along a new trajectory. In addition, this eclipse is an Annular Eclipse also called a Ring of Fire, bringing to mind the alchemist’s cauldron where the magic happens. All of these celestial energies and support along with the powerful Cancer New Moon assists us in bringing our dreams into reality!
