Tarot Card of the Month - February

“All systems of divination can be tools into another world. Join me as we explore one Tarot card each month to see how the Tarot can serve as a tool towards spiritual awakening and aligning with your personal sovereignty. " - Nikki Aggarwal

As I shuffled through my trusty Tarot deck, I held the following intention in my heart:

What card would serve the readers most in this, the very first month, of 2026?

Our result?...

The 10 of Cups!

Wow, that’s two Cups cards two months in a row, and 3 Cup cards in the last 4 months! With any divination system, the art of reading the messages includes looking for patterns, and repetition is a pattern worth noting! If you read the quick summary of the suit of Cups from last month, then you’ll remember that Cups represent the element of Water, and for us humans that equates to our emotions.

So to receive 3 Cups over a 4 month period indicates a strong call to prioritize your relationship with your emotions; how aware are you of your emotions, can you tell what’s yours from what is someone else’s; can you tell if your emotions are being manipulated; do you understand the messages that your emotions are trying to tell you? These are great questions to ask yourself to know where you are in your relationship with your emotions. Self-inquiry and self-exploration are key to living in alignment with your power, sovereignty, and highest potential!

Other traits to note of this suit are passion, sensitivity, and being in touch with the sensations of your feelings. While Cups cards embody traits of enthusiasm and conviction, they can also show up as lacking discipline, irresponsibility, and harboring unrealistic expectations, especially if they use their emotions as excuses to check out of life. Ultimately, the journey of this suit aims to teach us the insight we need to trust and to respond to our emotions rather than to be ruled by them. They do so by showing us how to connect our outer awareness to our inner awareness, and then to take action based on this integrated perspective.

So, let’s dive deeper into the Ten of Cups to see what it wants to teach us this February! From a high-level perspective, the Ten of Cups represents the kind of happiness that most people want to manifest for their lives. This card signifies both emotional fulfillment as well as the potential for physical and spiritual development. It’s like a bridge between the Chronos human/physical side of our lives and the Kairos spiritual/etheric side.

Meaning, this card encourages us to observe and to celebrate our earthly joys while also increasing the attention we give to the guidance we receive from our intuition. The more that you live in harmony with all of the layers and pieces of yourself, the more that harmony emanates out from the core of your being and uplifts those around you. That’s why the energy of this card is so synchronistic for February – often thought of as the month of love because of Valentines Day, what better way to celebrate love than by becoming a beacon of its energy for yourself and for the world around you?!? Empowered, the energy of the Ten of Cups looks for ways to provide inspiration and to set positive examples for those who still struggle to find their way in life. Love and imagination are their tools that attract to them new commitments that help expand their lives and the lives of those around them. Through the Ten of Cups’ example, others can see that dreams don’t just happen spontaneously but manifest through right alignment – alignment with guidance and with acting on that guidance.

Wounded, the energy of the Ten of Cups can show up as ignoring the needs of those close to you, neglecting to cherish the gifts of your heart, denying that you are part of the physical and spiritual sides of existence, and being ungrounded by losing yourself in unrealistic dreams.

In its full potential, the archetype of the Ten of Cups emphasizes the potential for great wisdom that leads to all the symbols of a happy life that most people want to have, like a harmonious family built on love, material comfort, and living a life that is in harmony with nature and with neighbors. This card refers to the inner satisfaction that we feel when we know that we lived up to our potential while being aligned with our ideals. We achieved both our human Ego’s goals as well as our spiritual Soul’s goals – not one for

the sake of the other, but BOTH.

So, for February, I invite and encourage you to embrace the guidance of the Ten of Cups.

From a practical perspective, to utilize the energy of the Ten of Cups for your mental self-care, be present and take pleasure in all the beautiful things you experience each day. You can write about them before going to bed as a gratitude practice, which will also attract more of such experiences into your life going forward! For your body’s self-care, experiment with changing your hydration routing – do you drink enough water? Are you using the right lotion for your skin type? Do you need to install a water filter in your house? For your spirit’s self-care, celebrate your accomplishments! Regardless of how big or small an accomplishment may seem, they ALL deserve to be celebrated! And you can add those in your nightly gratitude journaling, too! Also, you can work Red Clover to deeply nourish your serenity and contentment.

Finally, here are some journaling questions that you can ask yourself and write about

when you work with the archetype of the Ten of Cups:

  • How authentic are you with yourself and those you love?

  • Do you ever compromise your authenticity in order to please someone else or to keep

  • the peace?

  • What does it feel like when you compromise your authenticity?

  • How would, or how does, it feel when you honor and defend your authenticity?

  • What does it feel like to be completely open and vulnerable with others?

  • Where might you be ready to open up and reach out to someone in a new way?

  • How might your relationship(s) change if you approach them from a new perspective?

These questions are an invitation to dive deep into your psyche to explore what is there that you want to keep, what you might want to adjust, or what you might want to get rid of completely. Much of the process of growth, development, and ascension involves exploring the inner depths of our own minds so that we can excavate the gold that is deep within and wash away the sediment that doesn’t belong there anymore.

Think of inner inquiry like sifting for gold. That is how I like to see it.

And if you need help, then reach out. You can send me a message through my website to schedule a Zoom reading! Or you can inquire about one of my coaching or healing packages. My goal is to help my clients feel stronger, more self-empowered, and aligned with their personal sovereignty as we both get to witness how the changes that they make inside of themselves can radiate out to create transformation in their outer world, too.

Remember: You deserve the best of what you can give yourself.

Peace and blessings to you and yours. In loving light, I look forward to exploring next month’s card for December 2025! ✨
