“All systems of divination can be tools into another world. Join me as we explore one Tarot card each month to see how the Tarot can serve as a tool towards spiritual awakening and aligning with your personal sovereignty. " - Nikki Aggarwal
As I shuffled through my trusty Tarot deck, I held the following intention in my heart:
What card would serve the readers most for June 2026?
Our result?...
Queen of Coins!
This is our third Queen card since starting this monthly journey through the Tarot in January 2025. Having shown up the most frequently above all other cards, the Queen is again reminding us of the power of our Divine Feminine aspects – those of receiving,
listening, observing, holding boundaries, creating, and living with compassion. The archetype of the Queen likes to teach and transform while encouraging those around them to be the best version of themselves.
Recall from April that as the 13th card in the suit, the Queen card is a numerological combination of the energies of the Death (13) and Emperor (4) Major Arcana cards. Death offers release and insight while the Emperor offers protective boundaries and the active principal of movement, which explains the Queen’s expert level of balance between the two extremes.
Each Queen card embodies and nurtures the growth energy of its suit, then radiates it outward. The suit of Coins (aka Discs and Pentacles) is connected to the element of Earth, relates to the time measurement of years, and asks the question: How can I create more stability in my life? As such, she encourages you to embody the full potential of your being and ground that energy into the Earth plane. She also reminds you to spend your years as wisely as possible, and to create as much stability in your life as possible.
Now, with all that said, let’s dive deeper into the Queen of Coins to see what it wants to teach us about ourselves this June!
From a high-level perspective, the Queen of Coins comes to remind you that mother nature provides all the things that humanity needs to support, enrich, and expand your life and your work. This card emphasizes that skillful work done with love, focus, and intention can both raise your own self-esteem and bless the lives and hearts of those who are on the receiving end of your work. Even if you think that what you do will not be seen by anybody else, it is still seen by yourself and your own soul, so do your work with all your presence and you will be blessed by your own satisfaction and sense of accomplishment.
If you find yourself stuck in a difficult point of view toward other people, call in the energetic support of the Queen of Coins to reignite your compassion. Her presence can help you soften, open, and return to a more gracious way of sharing your gifts with the world. In doing so, you create space for your beauty, creativity, and wisdom to be seen – and for the lived experiences you carry to become a blessing to others.
Empowered, the archetype of the Queen of Coins reminds you to cultivate your awareness in a way that empowers others. She encourages you to use the wealth and skills that you have accumulated in ways that make you self-sufficient, that benefit your community, and that foster a feeling of unity with the world.
Wounded, the archetype of the Queen of Coins may seek to avoid responsibility, act out in suspicious and conniving ways, and try to control others or withhold from others instead of being generous and helping others flourish. While in shadow, this energy can cause you to fail to appreciate the riches and resources of the environment around you, and to feel empty and unsatisfied toward the work you do in life.
In its full potential, the archetype of the Queen of Coins can bring harmony to the world in times of tension and strife. When you partner with this energy, it can help you develop your skills with authority in a way that helps others while you expand your talents and services. Finally, as a representative of sensuality in many forms, this energy can stir up passion, excitement, and desire in any avenue you pursue, so call this energy in if you
need to get yourself out from being stuck in a rut.
So, for June, I invite and encourage you to embrace the guidance of the Queen of Coins.
From a practical perspective, to utilize the energy of the Queen of Coins for your mental self-care, rewatch a movie that features a lead character who inspires you so that you can cultivate that character’s qualities in yourself. For your body’s self-care, focus on
getting good quality sleep this month because it is key to creating balance and stability. For your spirit’s self-care, explore the art of feng shui to bring stability and flow into your home and/or office space. Get rid of excess clutter and thoughtfully add potted plants to your space if you can. Finally, if called, you can work with creosote bush this month to support your community. Its energy acts as medicine to empower future generations
and to protect wild spaces should doing so call to your heart and soul.
Here are some journaling questions/prompts that you can ask yourself and write about when you work with the archetype of the Queen of Coins:
How present have you been in your work, rest, connection, play, dreaming, etc.?
Where do you find joy in life?
How does holding boundaries allow you to be more intentionally generous?
In what ways do you incorporate sustainable pleasure into your daily routine?
What is your relationship with restriction and its ability to support a balanced life?
These questions are an invitation to dive deep into your psyche to explore what is there that you want to keep, what you might want to adjust, or what you might want to get rid of completely. Much of the process of growth, development, and ascension involves exploring the inner depths of our own minds so that we can excavate the gold that is deep within and wash away the sediment that doesn’t belong there anymore. Think of inner inquiry like sifting for gold. That is how I like to see it.
And if you need help, then reach out. You can send me a message through my website to schedule a Zoom reading! Or you can inquire about one of my coaching or healing packages. My goal is to help my clients feel stronger, more self-empowered, and aligned with their personal sovereignty as we both get to witness how the changes that they make inside of themselves can radiate out to create transformation in their outer world, too.
Remember, you deserve the best that you can give yourself!
Peace and blessings to you and yours, and in loving light, I look forward to exploring next month's Tarot card! ✨
