Tarot Card of the Month - November

“All systems of divination can be tools into another world. Join me as we explore one

Tarot card each month to see how the Tarot can serve as a tool towards spiritual

awakening and aligning with your personal sovereignty. " - Nikki Aggarwal

As I shuffled through my trusty Tarot deck, I held the following intention in my heart:

What card would serve the readers most in the 9th month of 2025?

Our result?...

The Four of Cups!

The suit of Cups represents the element of water, and for us humans that equates to our emotional body. In general, this suit teaches us to trust and to respond to our feelings and emotions without being controlled by them.

The goal is to connect our outer awareness to our inner awareness so that we can take the necessary actions in order to follow the intuitive guidance that we receive. This creates an integrated approach to human life so that our inner world and outer world work together for our best and highest good.

So, let’s dive deeper into the Four of Cups to see what it wants to teach us for the month of November! From a high-level perspective, the Four of Cups represents finding balance between action and inaction, knowing when to move versus when to wait, and knowing when to be active versus when to rest. So many people stay busy for the sake of being busy because they know that if they’re still, they will hear that voice inside guiding them

towards something else, and many people don’t want to hear the truths that live inside of themselves.

That’s why the energy of this card is so important for November – you HAVE to learn how to listen to your intuitive guidance! Even if what it says feels uncomfortable because its guidance tells you to do something radical, unfamiliar, or in opposition to what is “normal” for you (or for your family or for your social group, society, etc.), you have to learn how to flow through that discomfort anyway and follow your intuition’s guidance.

In a world full or noise, misinformation, false news, fear messaging, and distractions, it becomes much more important for you to hear your intuition, and many of those messages come through your emotions. But if you’re so distracted by unnecessary busy work, you’re not likely to hear your intuition, or you might convince yourself that you didn’t actually hear what you did, in fact, hear.

Empowered, the energy of the Four of Cups knows when to honor the call for rest and silence. It honors what has been received, is open to receive what is next, and will sit by the shores of its inner emotional guidance system and wait until the next message comes. You’ll know if the empowered energy of this card is supporting you in life if you’re able to balance the actions of thinking and doing, if you’re able to find “enlightenment” in everyday activities, and if you’re taking the action steps as guided by your intuition.

Wounded, the energy of the Four of Cups can be too focused on the bitter experiences of the past, clouded by the storms that it is currently weathering, and effected by the intensity of the emotions it feels, which allows the emotions to control its behavior rather than intuitive guidance. You’ll know if the wounded energy of this card has taken over your life if apathy and withdrawal have become your main ways of living, if you’ve gotten into the habit of allowing others to make your choices for you, or if you’re blindly doing what is expected of you instead of doing what it is that you are called to do.

In its full potential, the archetype of the Four of Cups embodies and honors the need to withdraw from others for a while so that it can tap into its wealth of inner wisdom. It knows that in order to act from the heart instead of from the expectations of others, that a period of space and separation is necessary. And it takes that time, too.

Honestly think, how can you create the new that wants to birth through you if you’re too inundated by the old? Trying to do so just leads to more overwhelm, exhaustion, and unhappiness. Juggling too much leads to dropping everything, so it’s better to drop what no longer serves you to make space for what’s really necessary going forward.

Ultimately, the Four of Cups wants you to make an honest evaluation of where you are in life and what you really need in order to create the next phase of your life. It’s like a mini-call to rebirth, one that isn’t as drastic as the Death card or the Tower card, but if you don’t listen now, then the more drastic messages will come eventually, and you deserve ease and grace instead of suffering and drama.

So, for November, I invite and encourage you to embrace the guidance of the Four of Cups. From a practical perspective, to utilize the energy of the Four of Cups for your mental self-care, you can rearrange your furniture to bring in a fresh change of both perspective and scenery. For your body’s self-care, you can start up a cardio workout routine to reenergize yourself. For your spirit’s self-care, you can work with carnelian, vanadinite, and citrine to help motivate and get yourself back on track. Set them out anywhere you need to give yourself a boost to get things done! Also, you can work with the herb mint when you want to embrace the archetype of the Four of Cups so that it can help you feel refreshed, find balance between plenty and too much, and bring gratitude for what you have as opposed to yearning for what you don’t have.

Four of Cups Journaling Prompts:

  • Where do you feel unsatisfied in relationship with yourself, with your intimate

  • relationships, and/or with your community relationships?

  • How can you engage in your relationships in more meaningful, generous, and

  • vulnerable ways?

  • How can you reconnect with any difficult emotions that you have buried?

  • What caused you to bury those emotions to begin with?

  • What do you wish you had more of in your life?

  • Where can you see the presence of that “thing” you want more of already in your life?

These questions are an invitation to dive deep into your psyche to explore what is there that you want to keep, what you might want to adjust, or what you might want to get rid of completely. Much of the process of growth, development, and ascension involves exploring the inner depths of our own minds so that we can excavate the gold that is deep within and wash away the sediment that doesn’t belong there anymore. Think of inner inquiry like sifting for gold. That is how I like to see it.

And if you need help, then reach out. You can send me a message through my website to schedule a Zoom reading! Or you can inquire about one of my coaching or healing packages. My goal is to help my clients feel stronger, more self-empowered, and aligned with their personal sovereignty as we both get to witness how the changes that they make inside of themselves can radiate out to create transformation in their outer world, too.

Remember: You deserve the best of what you can give yourself.

Peace and blessings to you and yours. In loving light, I look forward to exploring next month’s card for December 2025! ✨
