“All systems of divination can be tools into another world. Join me as we explore one
Tarot card each month to see how the Tarot can serve as a tool towards spiritual
awakening and aligning with your personal sovereignty. " - Nikki Aggarwal
As I shuffled through my trusty Tarot deck, I held the following intention in my heart:
What card would serve the readers most in the 9th month of 2025?
Our result?...
The Chariot!
We are back into the Major Arcana this month, which means that both our inner world
and our outer world are navigating complex and deep archetypal energies…. No
surprise there!
Events on the world stage continue to intensify, and while that may be what we see on
the surface, it is important to remember that we are only shown partial truths, intricate
fabrications, and mostly negative stories that are meant to spark feelings of fear into
humanity.
Why is this important?
Because a population is easily controlled when it is in a state of fear!
And that, in my opinion, is why The Chariot came to us this month, because this
archetype speaks to our determined need to search for greater truth and understanding
in any given situation.
So, let’s dive deeper into The Chariot to see what it wants to teach us for the month of
October!
From a high-level perspective, The Chariot represents our inner director, or the spiritual
driver, of our human experience. If life was like a train, then The Chariot would be the
force that guided the steering system to control the train’s direction. This energy
embodies great potential for accomplishment, responsibility, movement, leadership, and
authority. It gives us the strength and stamina to make changes based on our principles
and not to squander our energy on unnecessary tasks so that we stay focused on the
goal at hand.
What does that mean?
It means that we decide what direction we will take, what to believe, and what paths to
follow regardless of the stories being told around us. We embrace the “divine pivot,”
which means that when our Higher Self guides us to change our strategy or approach
towards our goals or life’s vision, we make the necessary change because we know that
our vision remains the same, it’s just the approach that changes.
Empowered, the energy of The Chariot helps us to steer our life towards stability. It can
support us to overcome obstacles, reclaim control of our life, and channel our will,
confidence, and ambition towards our life’s vision. Like the well-seasoned caption at the
helm of a ship, we feel in control, maybe a desire to be of service, and can hear the call
of our soul and take the necessary action steps to follow the call.
Wounded, the energy of The Chariot delays our progress with traps like self-doubt,
escapism behaviors, scattered energy, or conflictive influences (think “angel” on one
shoulder and “devil” on the other). Like a freight train without a train operator, we may
feel out of control, a desire to be irresponsible, or a tendency to dominate over others.
Balanced, the inner archetype of The Chariot knows that life can throw unexpected
curve balls at any time and is ready to make the best out of whatever situation comes
up. But that isn’t to say that everything is sunshine and rainbows all of the time. It
means that when the inevitable storm comes up, or pothole in the road, this energy can
show us how to have faith in our ability to self-resource what is needed in the moment
so that we can distill the pearl buried within the experience.
This is where the human tendency to search for greater truth and understanding in any
given situation comes in. Not from a mental place of trying to twist logic out of an
illogical situation, but from a heart centered place of knowing that your intuition will
reveal the underlying lesson in divine timing if you keep showing up to the moment as
you are called.
To further this point, when you look closely at the two sphinxes in front of the Chariot,
you see that they are looking in slightly different directions. This serves as a reminder to
consider opposing viewpoints of a situation as you work towards your goal, but only
briefly. With this new information, allow your intuition to advise you on the correct path
for you and keep moving forward. Be open to the guidance that there may be another
path, a third path, that can take you where you want to go in a more efficient, loving,
and supportive way.
In its full potential, this archetype embodies the warrior traits of courage and singleness
in purpose, both of which help you to achieve your goals. Remember, even as you
move through your day-to-day mundane tasks, you still function as a part of the greater
Universe. You can bring meaning to life in all that you do if you choose. Washing the
dishes can become a ritual of presence and gratitude… feel the water run over your
hands, wonder at the beauty of the bubbles as they reflect all the colors of the rainbow,
and breathe deeply into your body, heart, mind, and soul as you focus on this one
activity until it is complete.
All moments of life can become a ritual to honor the divine when you are fully present in
the spiritual technology known as your physical body. It’s a conscious choice that you
can make every moment of every day should you choose.
Ultimately, The Chariot wants you to summon the confidence that you have found in life
and let the world see your success, however success looks for you. You have the power
and expertise needed to direct the tremendous amount of energy created by the
breakthroughs of The Chariot – and The Chariot wants you to own that power.
So, for October, I invite and encourage you to embrace the guidance of The Chariot.
To utilize the energy of The Chariot, focus on self-care practices that boost your self-
confidence like wearing your favorite outfit, jewelry, and/or accessories that make you
feel powerful. Incorporate strength training into your exercise routine, or start an
exercise routine, so that you can feel the strength of your beautiful physical body. Make
sure to take some time to reflect on where you’ve been as compared to where you are
now so that you can honor how far you’ve come. Find yourself stuck in a repetitive
cycle? Then ask your Higher Self to show you a new path forward. Also, you can work
with the herb cedar when you want to embrace the archetype of The Chariot so that it
can help you be disciplined yet flexible in your pursuits.
Journaling questions for The Chariot archetype:
What makes you feel powerful, courageous, and resilient?
What feeds you as you approach the end of a major project, goal, or ambition and you
need one last burst of confidence, courage, and stamina?
What inspires you to keep moving forward and to pivot when necessary?
How do you keep faith in your life’s vision and move towards its fruition?
How have patterns of self-destruction kept you from reaching your goals in the past?
What can you do now to find a new way, a better way, for you to move forward?
These questions are an invitation to dive deep into your psyche to explore what is there
that you want to keep, what you might want to adjust, or what you might want to get rid
of completely. Much of the process of growth, development, and ascension involves
exploring the inner depths of our own minds so that we can excavate the gold that is
deep within and wash away the sediment that doesn’t belong there anymore.
Think of inner inquiry like sifting for gold. That is how I like to see it.
And if you need help, then reach out. You can send me a message through my website
to schedule a Zoom reading! Or you can inquire about one of my coaching or healing
packages. My goal is to help my clients feel stronger, more self-empowered, and
aligned with their personal sovereignty as we both get to witness how the changes that
they make inside of themselves can radiate out to create transformation in their outer
world, too.
Remember: You deserve the best of what you can give yourself.
Peace and blessings to you and yours. In loving light, I look forward to exploring next month’s card for November 2025! ✨
